We are expecting to have at least 60 cats, with 20 brand new Hobie Europe charter cats for visitors, 20 own cats brought up from South Africa and at least 20 local cats (plus others who come under their own steam, and there will be a few local cats available for hire as well).

HOW MUCH IS THE ENTRY FEE?

• 4 day Tanzacat Regatta euro 225 per boat
• 4 day Zanzibar Raid euro 225 per boat

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO CHARTER A HOBIE 16 OR TIGER?

All 20 charter cats (12 Hobie 16s and 8 Tigers) will be brand new from Hobie Europe for the event.  Charter cats are not available for only one of the Tanzacat Regatta and the Zanzibar Raid.  Charter cats will be allocated on a first payment received, first served basis, with a preference for overseas visitors

• Hobie 16 charter fee euro 1,250 per cat
• Hobie Tiger charter fee euro 1,500 per cat

WHAT IF I BRING MY OWN CAT FROM SOUTH AFRICA?

If you are bringing your own cat from South Africa in the containers that we are organising then please add an additional container fee of euro 150 per boat to cover a portion of the freight charges.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO PAY BY?

The charter cats need to leave Europe in early June so we need to accelerate all fee payments as much as possible into early May.

WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDE?

The Tanzacat Regatta entry fee includes:

• temporary membership at the Dar es Salaam Yacht Club for the duration of the event
• 4 days racing in Msasani Bay
• complimentary tickets to the opening pre race evening get-together on Wednesday 22 October 2010
• complimentary tickets to the Tanzacat Regatta prize giving and gala event at Dar es Salaam Yacht Club on Sunday 26 September 2010

The Zanzibar Raid entry fee includes:

• temporary membership at the Dar es Salaam Yacht Club for the duration of the event
• 4 days check point raiding on and off the coast of Tanzania and Zanzibar
• complimentary tickets to the Zanzibar Raid prize giving and all night beach party event at Dar es Salaam Yacht Club on Friday 1 October 2010

HOW TO PAY?

We require payment by bank transfer please.  If you are unable to pay this way, please email tanzacat2010(at)gmail(dot)com discuss an alternative method of payment. Please ensure the net fee arrives in the correct amount of euros.
